Come enjoy a peaceful, 1.5-Hour, guided float on the Sandy River Reservoir, a 700+ acre body of water located a few minutes from the retreat! Friendly guide will highlight the history of the reservoir, point out local wildlife, and answer any questions about the area!

Kayak, PFD, and Paddle will be supplied for each participant.
Start Time: 8 pm. Please arrive 10 minutes early in order to fill out waivers and be fitted with PFD's.
Meet at Sandy River Outdoor Adventures, located at 147 Monroe Church, Rice VA. Participants will follow one of our guides (by car) to the boat landing, just a couple minutes' drive from the retreat.
All boat rentals are for use at Sandy River Reservoir, a 740-acre lake with plentiful wildlife and great fishing.
Kayaks are a great choice for those with little to no boating experience! Our sit-on-top kayaks are lightweight, maneuverable, and very stable - offering a great family experience!
Single Kayaks are only available to participants 14 years and older, and an adult must be out on the water as well. All participants must be able to SWIM. Swimming is not permitted in the Sandy River Reservoir. Closed-toe shoes required. Kayaking is a water sport, so you may get wet. Fishing permitted with a valid Virginia Fishing License. Weight limit 275lbs.
